The Jackson Hole Birding website was created out of a desire to connect birders and bird enthusiasts together by engaging in regular birding hikes and walks, as well as similar activities. The goal of this website is to bring together like-minded people to create lasting connections, while also discovering the incredible birds that both visit Jackson Hole, as well as stay here year-round.
Regular birding walks and hikes are posted to encourage birders of the area, as well as visitors, to participate in finding birds in places they may not typically visit, or to simply get out with other birders. Likewise, some will be hikes on the more challenging side, others will be more relaxing strolls that are easily accessible to everyone.
We’re an inclusive group, and encourage anyone with an interest in birds to participate and make new friends.
Note that we are not affiliated with the Jackson Hole Bird & Nature Club, but do recommend attending their presentations and events as well.
